From April 15-17, our offshore partner CNOOC delegates visited Chevron Chengdu office and held a successful Joint Management Committee meeting on QHD32-6. During the visit, Mr. Segun Kuteyi, President of Chevron China, and Mr. Zhang Chunsheng, Deputy General Manager of CCLT (CNOOC Limited Tianjin Branch) had a warm conversation on future cooperation opportunities between Chevron and CCLT. The CNOOC delegates then visited Chuandongbei Gas Plant, which is part of CDB asset that Chevron co-develops with PetroChina.

This was a highly productive offsite Joint Management Committee meeting and field visit. With this opportunity, we shared with our partners Chevron’s values, high standards, technical competencies, and Operational Excellence Management System that Chevron brings to the Joint Ventures in China, which benefit our partners. This visit also helped strengthen the friendship among Chevron China, CNOOC, and PetroChina.
